Day 5 - 12

First of all...

*hides behind door* I'm SOOOOO sorry for not posting since a week ago. >>;; Been too lazy to do so. xD

Day 1

Anyways, from day 5 to day 7, we've been in Bay of Islands (BOI), so the lack of Internet connection made it hard for me to do anything for my blog. *hides* Now I'm just gonna show you more photos then talk, so yeah. (Because a certain certain girl in Singapore kept bugging me to put the photos up. :P) And of course, I'm not professional photographer and my camera's lousy, so don't ask too much. 8D

Breakfast before we leave for BOI. :)

Bridge that leads to North Auckland, since BOI is at the north side of Auckland.

Goodbye, Auckland city, and hello greenie fields!

Greeeeeeen. :3

No, that's not BOI. Just some random sea. xD

(BLOG POST STOPS HERE. I'm sorry, but stupid Blogger doesn't allow me to upload photos. And if I try to upload it from other hosting sites like Photobucket, it blocks me too. =.= I don't know why, but I'm going to try again tomorrow. -__-)

Day 2 + 3 + 4

So, anyways, before I start saying anything...

*hides behind the wall*

I'm sorry for being lazy!

*gunshotsssss*

Anyways, during these 3 days I've spent 80% of my time at home. xD *shot* Thus, I have almost zero idea about what I should post in here. *shot*

Okay, okay, for starters, on the 2nd of February, I woke up at around 11am, which is actually quite normal, considering that Malaysian time is only 6am. But anyways, my mum cooked up a little breakfast for my dad and myself and herself. It was a Korean instant noodles, so...yeah. Nothing much to talk about there. Sorry I forgot to get a photo of it. xP

After that... Mum and dad went back to bed. =.= They continued to sleep even though they woke up at the same time as myself.

Being bored, I decided to make good use of time by...playing PS3! :D And since I have nothing to talk about there, I shall talk about Heavy Rain, the game I'm playing! :3 *shot*

My brother recommended me this game. In fact, it is pretty special. Instead of your typical shooting-and-killing games, this one makes you feel like you are moving yourself, when you move your characters. Anyways, the story is about a serial killer who kills children and always put an orchid and a origami on their corpses. These children usually go missing for a few days before they were killed. Yes, it is a mystery game, where you control 4 different people, each with their own roles and perspectives. One of the main one includes Ethan Mars, the father who had lost his eldest son and divorced with his wife, and now his only son left is kidnapped by the killer.

Like all the parents of the previous victims, Ethan receives 4 origamis from the killer, in each one of them contains a trial that tests how much he loves his son, Shaun. The killer often asks him the same question, "How far would you go to protect the ones you love?"

The fun thing about the game is that you are almost always tossed with all sorts of decisions. And almost every decision you make changes the story. It's like...the Goosebumps book series, if you read them. Plus, while you're playing, since you feel like the character you're controlling, the whole game ends up like a movie more than a game. Even my parents also stopped by sometimes and start watching me play and asking me about what happened. 8D

Anywayssss, back to New Zealand. After I played the game for about 3 hours, which is around 2pm, my parents finally woke up. And this means a bad news: I can't play PS3 anymore. T_T My dad snatched the TV away and started watching his documentaries again. And since it has awesome views, I snapped some photos of it. 8D

Then, my brother returned home from work and we went out for a little shopping! We bought loads of food, lol. Typical Asians. = 3= When we're back, mum cooked a little stuffs, and we start feasting on our reunion dinner on CNY eve!

And yes, I still can't get over why it's still so bright. =.=

And now it's Day 3! Day 3... Yes, another day spent at home. Morning, we once again woke up at...12pm! And mum quickly ran to the kitchen to prepare our breakfast. And... DUM DUM DUM!!

This is what is served. C:

DSC01116

After breakfast, I spent most of my time online-ing and such while my father watched his documentaries and after that, my mum watched her Taiwan dramas. Around 3pm, my brother returned home again and we're off for more shopping! No, no photos during shopping cause I feel weird snapping photos in those areas. =.=

Once again, we bought lots of stuffs and returned home for dinner!

DSC01117

Simple dinner tonight. C: Oh and, in case you're wondering what soup is that, it's 'tang yuan'. My mum boiled it a little too long and all the sesame seeds came out. =.=

Day 4

Which is today! *shot*

Once again, woke up at 11am, and breakfast.

DSC01119

By the way, I should mention this: I've been sleeping on the floor since the first day because there is no more bed for me. T_T I'm serious, on the floor, with a blanket and a pillow. No, I don't use the blanket as a bed, because NZ is like air-cond-ed room, so yeah. Today, when I woke up, I ended up having a backache. =.= No more sleeping on floors tonight.

Moving on... It was a good chance for me to play PS3 again since everyone seemed busy. Around 40 minutes later, my father stole the TV away again. =.= Having nothing to do, I decided to start do a little...DRAWING. Yes, drawing.

I drew for about 2 hours before I stopped and started using the internet again. Mum and dad went out for a walk while I was busy with something in the laptop. = 3= *shot* When they were back, my mum asked me to cook fried rice for them. - 3- So yeah, fried rice, by me:

DSC01120

And instant dumplings by mum.

DSC01121

After dinner, I stole the TV away and played for around 1 hour, before my parents took it away again. So, being bored once again, I went back to drawing! Did a lot more improvement on my drawing, so I was content. But I still hate myself for sucking at drawing. = 3= But this is the first time I draw something without looking at another picture. It's completely out from my imagination! C: That, and this is for a contest in a website I'm in. xD YES, I AM JOINING A DRAWING CONTEST. *shotshotshot* It's not completed yet though.

Spent 4 hours today and this is what I drew:

And now, it's 3am in NZ but I'm still wide awake! 8D *shot* When can I ever adapt to the time here? = 3=

--

OH AND, TOMORROW, WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO DO SOMETHING!!! :D

We're (most probably) going to BAY OF ISLANDS! If you're curious, go google it and look at the pictures. :P

(AND, Did I mention how much I hate uploading photos? =.= They take a freaking long time, and it's the only reason why I don't want to put any pictures in my blog.)

Day 1

First of all, I seriously hate airplane rides. =.= No, it's not shaky, but it just makes me all nauseous, and I can't help but feel like vomiting every single second I'm in the plane. So, I ended up spending 8 of my 10 hours in the plane sleeping and skipping all meals served to me. I even purposely charged my MagPod (iPod Nano), MagPortable (PSP), MagBook (Laptop) and even brought my MagDisc (Hard Disc) with me on the plane to clear my boredom away! D: It seems all of these are wasted. T_T Anyways, enough for the random nonsense. Around 1:30pm New Zealand time, we finally arrived in Auckland International Airport! :D (In other words, 8:30am Malaysian time.)

Goodbye, Auckland Airport!

Anyways, one of our relatives came and picked us up in the airport and gave us a lift to Thom's (my brother) house. And when we finally arrived in the front gate, boy were we surprised. Their 'guard house' has no guards in it. In fact, it's just a machine, and you have to insert a passcode in it for the doors to open. But fear not, for the houses you see behind the gates are not my brother's houses. =.= It's actually like a resort place, where you have multiple units in the area.

So, presenting... Thomas's house!

I took a whole video of my first tour around the house. It's easier than snapping a number of pictures and end up stuffing them all in this little spot. But I'll try putting the video in later if I can. If not, I'll just post up pictures in tomorrow's post.

After my short 'tour' though, I heard my father calling from downstairs at the main door, saying things like, "Hey! He left us some notes here!" But yes, surprisingly enough, he stick up loads of notes around the whole house. My dad and I then decided to have a test to see who found the most notes. xD

First note by the entrance!
"Welcome to my humble home, Dad, Mum & Sis! Thanks David (relative) for driving my family here! Guys, if you need me please call @ blablabla.

"International Adapters"

Stuck on the wall of the staircase is the internet wifi details. xD

"Some lollies.
Note: SOUR."

"I've bought bread, peanut butter, nutella for you guys - help yourself. On dining table. There's ice cream in the fridge too, & alcohol...everywhere. Lol."

"Leftovers from previous party we have here - help yourself. Ice cubes in fridge."

"For dad. =)"
It's a Bluray documentary and a book about Egypt. Lol.

"For Maggie. =)"
YUSH! MY PS3 GAME! >:D

"For Mum. =)"
A bag of Hong Kong dramas to pass time. xD

"Remote controls: - to your right, i.e. right side of long couch."

Lots of notes, eh? Anyways, the photo-snapping goes on. :D

Specially taken for Mr. Morgana Koh Teck Kai. :P

AHHH. PS3!!!! *dies*

Nice clock in the kitchen. :D

Dad posing beside the Cert that shows Thom's Bachelor Degree in Medicine, that is placed right under the kitchen basin. xD

After that is an hour of rest before Thom came back home from work! Guess what? He finishes his work at 4pm! 4! I mean, 4!! Anyways, a little chit-chatting here and there and we left for some groceries and dinner at 6. :3

Unfortunately though, I forgot the whole time that I had my camera in my pocket so no photos for this session. -.- We went to a HongKie (aka Hong Kong-ian) restaurant for dinner. Ain't bad, but seriously, we ordered too much. =.=

Oh and, since we had our dinner around 7:30pm NZ time, it feels like we're having lunch because it was just 2:30pm in Malaysia. =.= I felt like the day just started, and then we're ending it with a huge dinner already. -.-

When we're done eating, it's already 8:30pm in NZ! But, lol, guess what? We couldn't tell! Because the freaking weather's like this:

Yes, it's already 8:30pm when I snapped those photos, seriously. =.=

And this is how 9:00pm looks like:

Anyways, what follows after that is us watching 1 episode of the documentary Thom bought for my dad. Pretty awesome stuff, probably because of the graphics. :D

After that, everyone, for some reasons, sat down nicely on the couch as I started playing Heavy Rain, a PS3 game Thom recommended. Played until it was 12:30am over here, then I stopped. And now I'm here! :3 Sorry if everything seems plain. /shot

I'll probably be able to write more nonsense tomorrow. Too tired right now... And it's only 8:20pm in Malaysia right now! D: Okay, enough! I'm heading to bed!
